Evergreen Water Update

Residents,

The Board is currently in the process of updating the website with additional vendors for phase II of the Evergreen Water install. Phase II involves listing pipes being run up to the house and set up for final installation.

We currently have a page set up under POA Documents. Owners will see a subsection dedicated to the Evergreen/Windstone Water Project. Current owners will have access to Martin County contacts, a valuable information section, vendor contacts for phase II (once we receive the community email from the vendors, we will update the website and send an email blast), and proposals for the community to review on installing water for the guard house.

We appreciate everyone’s patience. Please remember John Coniglio, President of Jaime Underground, will be joining us on Thursday, August 28th, at our monthly Board Meeting to give an update on the Martin County Project and answer questions regarding phase II of the installation for residents.

Martin County School Year 2025-26

Residents,

The month of August has arrived, and that means only one thing… back to school. Martin County School District returns to class Monday, August 11th. Just a few quick reminders:

  • Please obey and adhere to all stop signs and speed limits posted in the community, with zero exceptions.
  • Please allow extra leave to get to work or drop your children off at school. This will help navigate getting through Evergreen and Murphy Rd. It will be backed up.
  • If you are driving your child up to the bus stop, please follow and listen to the instructions of all security staff. Do not make up your own rules and disobey theirs; they will be instructed to inform Coastal and the Board of Directors of any issues.
  • Please take the time to speak to your family about the correct ways to navigate traffic in the morning and afternoon.
  • If they are their early, please have them wait under the pavilion by the guard house. Please don’t sit or stand by the Evergreen sign. It is safer this way with traffic coming from all angles.
  • Please make sure our bike riders take all their belongings from their bike prior to boarding the bus.
  • Be patient and cordial with each other definitely this first week. Please do not become frustrated with other residents, vendors, or security staff.
  • Please click here for the Bus Schedules for each school. I would have your child to the bus stop at least 5 minutes early. If they are their early, please have them wait under the pavilion by the guard house. Please don’t sit or stand by the sign. It is safer that way with traffic coming from all angles.

Reminder Pre-Payment for Water Assessment

 Residents:

Just a friendly reminder for those wanting to prepay the lump sum on the Evergreen/Windstone Water Assessment. Those lump sum payments are due August 15th, 2025, to Martin County.

Those not wanting to pre-pay that financing option will be on the ad valorem tax bill starting November 2025. The term of the financing will be 20 years at 1.52% interest.

Just so you know, the annual installment includes additional fees associated with financing: 2% Tax Collector fee, a 2.75% admin fee, and 4% adjustment for early tax bill payments.

Board Meeting July 24th Cancelled

Our monthly Board Meeting originally scheduled for July 24th has been canceled. Our next Board of Directors monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 28th, at Julie and Peter Cumming Library in Palm City, starting at 6 pm. Enjoy the rest of summer!

Few Community Reminders

Residents,

Just a kind reminder on a couple of things:
1. Golf Carts: Just a friendly reminder, the operating age for golf carts per bylaws is 16. We are seeing some instances where that is not the case. Please be responsible. Golf Carts are for leisure and relaxation, not a party mobile with a Daytona 500 flair. If you see a car coming, pull off to the side or slow down to let them pass.
2. Stop signs and speed limit signs: were placed on this earth for a reason, not just to be another annoying paperweight on the planet. Please take the extra time to stop and adhere to the speed limits. The board would like to put your hard-earned money, which you pay for dues, toward something other than more speed bumps, speed limits, and stop signs. But if it continues, then we have no choice.
Evergreen has been very busy this summer with water install, multiple vendors tending to properties, patrons golfing, parties, and friends and family coming to visit. Let’s do are part in making a safe for everyone.

Financial update

Residents,

Coastal is approximately 98% complete, with the financial review and the transfer of all necessary information from Jupiter Management. We have updated the website with the balance and income sheets for February through April. We are hoping to have May before tomorrow’s meeting.

Secondly, Coastal’s account staff has nearly completed reviewing all the ledgers from Jupiter Management to correct any issues regarding assessments. Coastal appreciates the continued patience as they navigate through everything.

Lastly, as a reminder, assessments are due on July 1st for the new quarter.
