Continuation of Annual Meeting - Evergreen Property Owners Association

Residents,

The Evergreen Board of Directors will hold the continuation of March’s Annual meeting on Thursday, April 23rd, at the Crane Watch Club banquet hall at 6pm.

To hold this meeting, the association must meet the required quorum of 90 members to approve the 2026-27 fiscal year budget.

If a property owner was in attendance in March, but cannot make the April meeting date, the property owner must fill out a proxy. I have included it at the bottom of the post if you need one to complete.

If you have already completed and submitted a proxy back in March, there is nothing further you need to do, unless you want to come to the meeting on Thursday, April 23rd.

You can drop off at the clubhouse from 5:30 to 6pm on Thursday, April 23rd.

Or you can drop off at the guardhouse prior to 4pm on Thursday, April 23rd

Please make every effort to attend or submit your proxy to ensure we meet this quorum requirement. If you allow the secretary to vote on your behalf, the only item up for a vote is the budget that needs to be passed.

We will have a question-and-answer session after vote. Thank you for your patience and have a wonderful weekend.

Once quorum is achieved and the vote has commenced, we will open the floor for any questions. There will be no monthly meeting on Thursday.

Golf Carts

Golf Carts in Evergreen:

Under Article VIII, Section 5 of the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of Evergreen, Golf Carts shall not be operated on the Common Areas by any unlicensed person or any person under the age of sixteen (16).

Under Article I Section 5 “Common Area” shall mean all the real property and improvements owned by the Association for the common use and the enjoyment of the Owners. The Common Area to be owned by the Association shall be such areas as shown on the Plats designated as Common Area.

After Hours Use of the Golf Course

Crane Watch Golf Course:

Please note that the golf course and the open land adjacent to Crane Watch are private property. Any unauthorized use of the grounds is trespassing and prohibited.

Lastly, as per our Bylaws and Covenants under Article 2 Section 2 subsection F. An Easement of 40ft. is hereby expressively reserved over the rear of all lots abutting fairways in the golf course for the use of the golf course. This easement is indicated as the Drainage, Safety, and Buffer Easement. Residents can read the current bylaws here.

C-23 Canal Easement

C-23 Canal Easement:

We would like to remind all residents that the easement along the C-23 Canal is not property owned or governed by the Evergreen Community and its Board of Directors. Therefore, neither the Board nor Coastal Property Management has the authority to issue violations related to its use.

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has received a high volume of calls regarding activity on the canal easement. To clarify, any concerns or reports of unauthorized or unsafe activity—such as ATV use—should be directed to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, which has the proper jurisdiction. Residents are kindly asked not to contact SFWMD directly regarding these matters.

Appropriate use of the easement includes pedestrian walking, bicycling, e-bikes, or horseback. Golf carts are prohibited on C-23 Canal Property easement as well.
