The Evergreen Board of Directors has issued guidelines in order to provide the safest possible conditions while the children in our community board the school buses in the morning and return from school in the afternoon.
Our goal is to keep everyone safe. In that attempt, we are requesting your compliance with the following guidelines:
- When waiting for a bus, all children must wait in the designated area in front of the guard house or inside of a waiting vehicle. No child is permitted to stand outside of the vehicle or run between cards to visit others.
- Children should exist all vehicle from the driver’s side.
- When the bus arrives, ALL VEHICLES MUST STOP. No vehicle will be permitted to leave the area until the bus is on its way. This is for both AM pick-up and PM drop off.
- Observe the 10 MPH zone at the front entrance.
- If you are late getting your child to the bus stop, you must still observe the speed limits posted throughout the community.
- No vehicles are permitted to park at the front entrance once the bus has left the area.
- Vehicles will be permitted to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time of the PM buses.
