Water Survey Results March 2011

The Board of Directors and the Roads & Drainage Committee has received the voting results for the water survey of Evergreen property owners.  According to Phil Keathley, of Martin County Utilities, 214 property owners returned ballots, with 115 voting Yes and 99 voting No.

This project will now move to the design stage to lay out the water system for the community.  The design process will take about 60 days.  Once the design is finalized, the project will be put out to bid.  Companies bidding on the construction of the water lines will have 30 days to submit their bids.  The Utility department will then present the cost of the project to the county commission and ask for a preliminary approval to proceed.

A meeting with the Evergreen property owners will then be scheduled, where we will learn about the timeline for the project and the assessed costs.

The Board of Directors for the Evergreen POA will continue to update all of the owners as soon as more information is available.

Thank you for participating in the survey.
