Evergreen Golf Club will be hosting a Big Brothers Big Sisters Charity Event. The Big TASTE, the 15th Annual Taste of Martin County will be held at the golf club on April 5, 2011. Golfers can participate in a golf tournament beginning at 12:15 PM and taste event will be held on the club ground from 5-8PM. Tickets for the event may be purchased on line at www.mentorbig.org or at the event.
This event may bring up to 1000 visitors to our community. For everyone’s security, the sheriff’s department will have four officers, one at the gate, and the others patrolling the community, starting at 4:30 PM on the day of the event. Members of local ROTC units will be acting as parking attendants and volunteers Members of the Evergreen POA will also be helping at the Taste event. Discounted tickets are being offered to all members of the Evergreen POA.
