The Evergreen POA Board of Directors has called a meeting on March 3, 2022, at 6 PM with the one agenda item: approval of the 2022-2023 budget.  This item was tabled at the last meeting on February 24, 2022, due to questions on the proposed budget. Having verified the calculations, the budget stands as initially presented.

The Evergreen POA Board of Directors will be meeting on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the Cummings Library in Palm City, and all owners are invited to attend.  Please click HERE to view the agenda.

The meeting will begin with the introduction of two candidates for the Board of Directors’ seat becoming available in March and will be followed by a regular Board meeting.

Please click HERE to review the proposed Amended and Restated Governing Document changes created by our attorney for your review.  Also included is a written consent form to be completed by owners.

Our legal counsel, Liz Bonan, will be our guest speaker at the
Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 6 PM.  The meeting will be held at the Cummings Library in Palm City.  We hope to see you there.

Over the weekend three communities in Palm City reported burglaries: Isleworth, Hammock Creek, and Orchid Bay.

If you see any suspicious activity please report it to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Be vigilant!

Power has not yet been restored to the guardhouse/front gate area.  FPL replaced the meter today but there is a lot of underlying damage to the housing and wiring.  We have an electrical company actively working on the problem, but due to the extent of the damage and work necessary, we do not expect power to be restored for 3-4 days.

We have rented a large generator which should be in place on Wednesday and provide enough power to temporarily operate the guardhouse and the bar code reader/entry and exit gates.

The electric meter that provides power to the guardhouse and the front gate area has failed.  FPL has been called to replace it on an emergency basis.  The guardhouse is manned and the gates will remain open until the meter has been replaced.  FPL has not given us an ETA for the service completion at this time, but we’ll keep you updated.
