Residents,
The month of August has arrived, and that means only one thing… back to school. Martin County School District returns to class Monday, August 11th. Just a few quick reminders:
- Please obey and adhere to all stop signs and speed limits posted in the community, with zero exceptions.
- Please allow extra leave to get to work or drop your children off at school. This will help navigate getting through Evergreen and Murphy Rd. It will be backed up.
- If you are driving your child up to the bus stop, please follow and listen to the instructions of all security staff. Do not make up your own rules and disobey theirs; they will be instructed to inform Coastal and the Board of Directors of any issues.
- Please take the time to speak to your family about the correct ways to navigate traffic in the morning and afternoon.
- If they are their early, please have them wait under the pavilion by the guard house. Please don’t sit or stand by the Evergreen sign. It is safer this way with traffic coming from all angles.
- Please make sure our bike riders take all their belongings from their bike prior to boarding the bus.
- Be patient and cordial with each other definitely this first week. Please do not become frustrated with other residents, vendors, or security staff.
- Please click here for the Bus Schedules for each school. I would have your child to the bus stop at least 5 minutes early. If they are their early, please have them wait under the pavilion by the guard house. Please don’t sit or stand by the sign. It is safer that way with traffic coming from all angles.
Have a great school year!
