Board Meeting July 24th Cancelled

Residents,

Our monthly Board Meeting originally scheduled for July 24th has been canceled. Our next Board of Directors monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 28th, at Julie and Peter Cumming Library in Palm City, starting at 6 pm. Enjoy the rest of summer!

Few Community Reminders

Residents,

Just a kind reminder on a couple of things:
1. Golf Carts: Just a friendly reminder, the operating age for golf carts per bylaws is 16. We are seeing some instances where that is not the case. Please be responsible. Golf Carts are for leisure and relaxation, not a party mobile with a Daytona 500 flair. If you see a car coming, pull off to the side or slow down to let them pass.
2. Stop signs and speed limit signs: were placed on this earth for a reason, not just to be another annoying paperweight on the planet. Please take the extra time to stop and adhere to the speed limits. The board would like to put your hard-earned money, which you pay for dues, toward something other than more speed bumps, speed limits, and stop signs. But if it continues, then we have no choice.
Evergreen has been very busy this summer with water install, multiple vendors tending to properties, patrons golfing, parties, and friends and family coming to visit. Let’s do are part in making a safe for everyone.
Thanks for reading and being a part of the Evergreen community. Any questions send me or any other board member a message.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Financial update

Residents,

Coastal is approximately 98% complete, with the financial review and the transfer of all necessary information from Jupiter Management. We have updated the website with the balance and income sheets for February through April. We are hoping to have May before tomorrow’s meeting.

Secondly, Coastal’s account staff has nearly completed reviewing all the ledgers from Jupiter Management to correct any issues regarding assessments. Coastal appreciates the continued patience as they navigate through everything.

Lastly, as a reminder, assessments are due on July 1st for the new quarter.

Thank you and have a great day!

Quick Reminders regarding CWC and Golf Carts

Residents,

It has come to our attention that several individuals have been driving personal golf carts onto the golf course (Crane Watch Club) and fishing on both the golf course property and private Evergreen homeowners’ property. Please remember that the golf course and all residential properties are private property.

Golf Course Action:
If these trespassing incidents continue, the golf course (Crane Watch Club) has informed us that they will consider contacting the Martin County Sheriff’s Office to report violations. As the property owner, they have the right to do so, and the Sheriff’s Office has the authority to issue trespass warnings to individuals.

Evergreen Resident Awareness:
Evergreen homeowners also have the right to protect their private property. If someone enters your yard—on foot or by golf cart—you may contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office to report the incident. The Sheriff’s Office can issue a trespass warning on your behalf as well.

Coastal Property Management’s Role:
Coastal Management will respond to all calls regarding these incidents; however, our ability to act is limited. In most cases, the individuals involved have already left the area and cannot be identified. Please note that Coastal does not have the authority to issue trespass warnings on behalf of the golf course or individual homeowners.

Board of Directors’ Role:

The Evergreen Board of Directors will respond to calls regarding these incidents; however, the Board’s ability to take action is limited. We cannot stop or approach individuals in any situation at any time. The Board of Directors also does not have the authority to issue trespass warnings on behalf of the golf course or individual homeowners.

Personal Golf Cart Use:

It has also come to our attention that golf carts are operating in the common areas of Evergreen without adhering to the current bylaws. Secondly, they are being operated with more than the maximum individuals on that operating vehicle.

Under Article VIII, Section 5 of the Evergreen Bylaws: Golf Carts shall not be operated on the Common Area by any unlicensed person or any person under the age of sixteen (16). The Board of Directors requests that homeowners adhere to the current bylaws. If anyone is under the age of sixteen (16), they must be accompanied by a licensed adult when operating a golf cart.

Both Coastal and the Board of Directors value the safety of all individuals in the community (resident or guest) and the property that each homeowner or vendor owns. Our objective is not to police every aspect of the community; our goal is to ensure that all residents live in a peaceful, safe, and happy environment.
