Annual Meeting update

Residents,

On March 27th, Evergreen held its Annual Meeting for its Members. However, at the meeting, we did not meet the minimum quorum requirement. According to the Evergreen bylaws, we require a minimum of 90 property owners, either in person or by proxy. Our total was only 64.

This is important because the community cannot vote on the 2025-26 Annual Budget. For the residents in attendance, a poll was taken to determine whether to postpone the Annual Meeting to a future date or to use the 2024-25 budget. The vote on the floor was to push the meeting to a future date. That meeting will be our next monthly meeting, scheduled for Thursday, April 24th, at the Cummings Library in Palm City. Below is the letter that Coastal Management will send to property owners in the coming days.

If you are unable to attend, please complete and return the proxy form as soon as possible. If you have already submitted a proxy at the previous Annual Meeting, you do not need to submit another one. Please fill out the Proxy and return it in the envelope provided or fax it to Coastal Property Management at 772-266-9801 prior to the meeting.

 In order to hold this meeting, it is crucial that the association meets the quorum requirement of 90 members to approve the 2025-2026 Budget.

 Please make every effort to attend or submit your proxy to ensure we meet this quorum requirement.
