As most of you know, we have been working diligently to reopen the golf course at Evergreen. We are happy to announce that the golf course will reopen on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. We have made a lot of progress and the golf course is improving. We have completed major tree trimming, tree removal, and overall general clean-up of the golf course and clubhouse. We have used fertilizers and other non-toxic chemicals to continue the effort of restoring the golf course to an acceptable playing condition. However, due to issues with the irrigation system there are some areas of the golf course that have not completely recovered. In fact, we will be using temporary greens on three holes for a few days. We recognize fully that these areas offer less than ideal playing conditions and therefore we have lowered our previously mentioned price of $20 down to $10 for a round of golf for the residents of Evergreen. The 2018-2019 Legacy members will still be able to play at no charge for the remainder of September. We will not be doing any advertising for or accepting outside play until October.
We are finalizing our set-up of phones, computers, email, etc. We are attempting to reinstall the “old” Evergreen phone number and we will communicate to you when that phone number is operational. In the meantime, feel free to email Frank Dobbs, Director of Golf at firstname.lastname@example.org to request tee times.
The Hours of Operation for the golf course during the month of September will be Wednesday-Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm. All carts need to be returned to the cart barn by 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing you soon.
